Turtle program set at Hunt Hill

Turtles will be the topic of Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary’s Cakes at the Lake program Saturday, July 14. Bob Hay, director of Turtles for Tomorrow, will share turtle trivia and information about turtles that live in the lakes and wetlands of northwest Wisconsin. Participants will meet live turtles up close.

The all-you-care-to-eat breakfast will be served from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Buttermilk pancakes with fruit compote, sausage, fresh fruit and beverages will be on the menu. The free environmental program to follow at 10 a..m. is free and sponsored by Long Lake Preservation Association.
