Woods habitat to be covered

Managing a woodland for wildlife will be the topic of the next session in a Woodland Forum program series being offered at Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary near Sarona. The next session will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17.

Participants will learn about managing a woodlands for wildlife habitat, as well as timber production, and discuss different funding options to reach their property’s goals offered through nonprofit, state and federal programs.

The Woodland Forum program series is designed for woodland owners who want to improve their property. Participants meet foresters and expert land managers and learn about woodlands. For more information, call 715-635-6543 or visit http://www.hunthill.org.
